Common FAQs

Yes! Both DM-01™ and MULTIFLEX™ are formulated with safe, natural ingredients that can be given on their own or alongside each other. For the best overall health benefits, we recommend using them together.

Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, let us know and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right.

At what age can my pup start using these?

The Multivitamin and MULTIFLEX™ is suitable for dogs of all ages and breeds. However, we do recommend dogs begin to incorporate the chews into their daily routine starting at an age of 3 months or older and the powder at 6 months or older.

What does 100% Human-Grade ingredients mean?

Most pet supplements from other brands contain palm oil, fillers, artificial flavoring, preservatives, etc. At Dog is Human, we're raising the standards of dog health by only using the highest quality human-grade ingredients, which is what our best friends deserve.

How long until I start seeing the benefits?

The improvements owners often notice — a healthier coat, more energy, and a happier dog — are just bonuses to building better long-term health. If taken the Multivitamin and MULTIFLEX™ consistently on a daily basis, most dogs will start to see positive changes in about 6-8 weeks.

How many chews come in a jar?

There are 60 chews in each jar, which is a 2 month supply for Small Dogs (0-25 lbs), 1 month supply for Medium Dogs (25-75 lbs), or 3 week supply for Large Dogs (75+ lbs).

What flavor is the Multivitamin?

Our Multivitamin is made with the highest quality human-grade chicken liver, a flavor that dogs absolutely love. In the case of a chicken allergy or if your dog just prefers beef more, get our Beef Multivitamin HERE.

Why do I sometimes see sparkly crystals, "glittery bits", or white specks in the chews?

Those sparkly crystals or "glittery bits" you might notice are completely normal! They're from the MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane), one of our key active ingredients that supports joint health. MSM naturally forms crystals, so you may occasionally see these harmless white specks or sparkly bits in the chews. This is actually a good sign that shows the potent, pure ingredients we use in every batch.

What happens if I accidentally give my dog too many chews or too much powder?

In the event that your dog accidentally consumes significantly more than the daily recommended dose, consult your vet for advice.

Can I give my dog the Daily Multivitamin (DM-01™) or the Advanced Hip and Joint (MULTIFLEX™) with other supplements?

Our veterinary team formulated DM-01™ and MULTIFLEX™ with natural ingredients that can be taken both alone or as a complementary product with other common and more targeted pet supplements. Nevertheless, we still recommend checking with your vet.

Can I use this short term or does my dog need to take it daily for life?

For optimal results, we recommend daily, long-term use.

Can I split the daily dose throughout the day?

The daily dose can be split throughout the day, either given as treats or with your dog’s meals.

What is the recommended age for the multivitamin?

The multivitamin is suitable for all dogs 3 months and older.

Can DM-01™ help with tear stains?

Yes! DM-01™ is formulated with ingredients like Vitamin B12, folic acid, and probiotics that work together to reduce tear stains by supporting gut health, eye clarity, and coat health. Most dogs start seeing visible improvements in tear staining within 6-8 weeks of consistent daily use.
